On the horizon, wind turbines produce renewable power while our bees gather nectar from pasture flowers, Kanuka and other natives. Hakarimata honey is collected from the Hakarimata Range which forms part of the western rampart of the Waikato Basin, in behind Ngaruawahia. Nestled in the foothills and near the Waikato River, our bees feast themselves on the copious sources of nectar from native flowers above and pasture flowers below.
